The alleged shooter, 31-year-old Yeicop Menjivar, arrived at Montoya’s home demanding to speak to his ex-girlfriend, leading to a physical altercation that resulted in the shooting. Authorities are searching for Menjivar, who is believed to be driving a blue Honda Civic and is considered armed and dangerous. Montoya’s family has urged Menjivar and his family to turn him in.
