Woman possibly kidnapped during car theft: San Jose police
A woman who was possibly kidnapped in San Jose has been found safe, according to local authorities. Acela Pineda Silva, 31, first went missing in the early hours of Saturday when a car she was a passenger in was allegedly stolen by a group around 2 a.m. near North Fifth Street and St. John Street. No additional information about Silva’s recovery has been provided. The stolen vehicle has been recovered, but information about the suspects has not been released. The San Jose Police Department were previously appealing for information about Silva’s whereabouts.
