Woman kidnapped in San Jose found safe, police say – NBC Bay Area
A 31-year-old woman, Acela Pineda Silva, who was the victim of a suspected kidnapping in San Jose, was found safe on Saturday. The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) reports that Silva was in a truck with a male friend when two men tried to steal it and took her against her will. Later, a good Samaritan recognized Silva from police alerts and brought her into the police station. Police later recovered the stolen truck, arresting one suspect on suspicion of kidnapping. The second suspect is still on the run, and anyone with information is urged to contact the SJPD.
