WMVP-AM co-host Tom Waddle buys Long Grove mansion for $1.5M

Former Chicago Bears wide receiver and current WMVP-AM afternoon co-host Tom Waddle and his wife, Cara Waddle, have purchased a renovated five-bedroom mansion in Long Grove for $1.5 million. The property, built in 2006, includes features such as 5-1/2 bathrooms, two fireplaces, a renovated kitchen with custom cabinetry, and a finished basement with a recreation area, among other amenities. This purchase comes five months after the couple sold their five-bedroom mansion in Lake Forest for $3.1 million, which they had initially bought in 2015 for $2.15 million. The property taxes for their new home amount to $37,345 for the 2022 tax year, compared to the $53,490 they paid for their Lake Forest property in the same year. Their Long Grove property was listed for $1.49 million in September and went under contract two days later.
