Where the case stands now

A year after the disappearance and presumed murder of Ana Walshe, the prosecution of her husband, Brian Walshe, has slowed due to a change in his defense attorney. The new attorney, public defender Larry Tipton, is now reviewing around 1,000 pages of discovery, and additional DNA testing is expected. Evidence against Brian Walshe includes purchases of cleaning supplies and rugs, blood and a bloody knife found in the couple’s rented home, and incriminating items found at a transfer station. Additionally, internet searches about disposing and dismembering bodies were linked to Brian. Meanwhile, a probate case accusing Brian of stealing from his late father’s estate was dropped by his family.
