Warehouse fire in Elizabeth, New Jersey still burning after more than 12 hours, but contained, officials say

A four-alarm fire has engulfed a warehouse in Elizabeth, New Jersey, with smoke continuing to billow from the scene after 12 hours. The fire began in the early hours of Friday morning and has since destroyed three warehouses dating back to the 1940s. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is monitoring air quality in the area and has reported no elevated levels of concern. An investigation into the cause of the fire cannot begin until the fire is out. One firefighter suffered minor injuries while tackling the blaze.
