Notably, its low-budget commercial, which aired over half a million times in 40 years, is considered one of the longest-running in Chicago television history. The business is facing closure due to a challenging salvage market, rising interest rates, and a lack of customers. Future plans include selling the property and the current owner, Kyle Weisner, heading for semi-retirement in Arizona.
