Vehicle thief points gun at man’s head, crashes into sidewalk fence, police say
San Antonio police are currently seeking a suspect who reportedly attempted to steal a vehicle and threatened the owner with a firearm. The incident occurred on Socorro Street, near Highway 281 and Loop 410, where a 21-year-old man found the suspect seated in his parked car. When the owner confronted the suspect, the latter pointed a gun at him and crashed the car into a nearby fence. However, the victim was able to defend himself with a knife from within the car, causing the suspect to flee. The victim suffered minor injuries but is expected to be fine.
