US, Mexico submit bid to host 2027 Women’s World Cup

This bid competes against proposals from Brazil and a joint bid from Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The U.S.-Mexican bid plans to leverage venues and infrastructure from the 2026 men’s tournament, suggesting sites in cities like Arlington, Atlanta, and Houston, among others. Brazil’s bid estimates $99 million in competition revenue, while the European bid has not disclosed a specific figure but aims to exceed previous revenues. FIFA will evaluate proposed sites in February and vote on a host in May.
