Upheaval Continues at DeSantis Super PAC as Another Top Official Departs
The super PAC supporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in his presidential campaign, Never Back Down, has been experiencing turmoil recently, with multiple leadership changes. The group dismissed its chief executive officer Kristin Davison, who served for only nine days, and replaced her with Scott Wagner. Erin Perrine, the group’s spokeswoman, was also fired. The super PAC has seen three rounds of upheaval in recent weeks as DeSantis’ campaign enters the final stages before the first nominating contest. Meanwhile, allies of DeSantis in Tallahassee have created a new outside group, Fight Right, which is anticipated to take over some of Never Back Down’s responsibilities.
