Trump Trials: Trump won’t return to the stand in New York civil case on Monday

The former President, Donald Trump, has asked Judge Chutkan to halt the D.C. election-obstruction case while he appeals her decision on presidential immunity. Special counsel Jack Smith’s team of prosecutors, however, argue that the trial should continue as scheduled on March 4th. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Trump will not be returning to the witness stand in his civil trial, which involves accusations by the New York attorney general of fraudulent inflation of the value of his real estate empire. His lawyers argue that his testimony is no longer necessary.
