Trump Seeks Details of Atlanta Prosecutor’s Communications with Biden Aides

Donald Trump’s lawyers are seeking more information on conversations between Atlanta prosecutors and the Biden White House, and the House committee that investigated the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Trump has been claiming for some time that the election interference case brought against him by Fulton County district attorney, Fani T. Willis, is tainted because of her ties to these entities. Reports suggest that Willis sought to use evidence gathered by the House January 6 committee and made contact with the White House Counsel’s Office in 2022 to gather evidence and compel testimony from former Trump officials. Meanwhile, allegations of a romantic relationship between Willis and the outside lawyer hired to lead the Trump prosecution, Nathan Wade, have also emerged, sparking calls for an investigation into Wade’s appointment. Trump, Wade, and other co-defendants in the case have all pleaded not guilty.
