Trump rails against Liz Cheney, Jack Smith in post on immunity claim
Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to criticize former Rep. Liz Cheney and Special Counsel Jack Smith. Trump claimed that Cheney, who he said was defeated for Congress by a large margin, suffers from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). He also criticized Smith, who had previously dismissed Trump’s claim that he should have received immunity in a case related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Trump urged that the case should be thrown out, claiming that respected legal minds believe he is fully entitled to immunity.
