Trump ordered to pay $393,000 in legal fees for NYT, reporters

New York Judge Robert Reed has ordered that the sum of $392,638.69 to be paid by Trump’s camp to The New York Times as legal fees is reasonable, despite objections from Trump’s lawyers. The Times Spokesperson, Danielle Rhoades Ha, commented that the ruling sends a message against those misusing the judicial system to silence journalists. However, Trump’s lawyer, Alina Habba, expressed disappointment that The Times and its reporters were dropped from the case. She asserts that the court has reaffirmed their claims against Mary Trump, denying her attempt to avoid accountability.
