Trump backs Eric Adams, Andrew Cuomo in sexual misconduct lawsuits
Former President Donald Trump has expressed support for New York Mayor Eric Adams and former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, both of whom face new lawsuits for alleged sexual misconduct. Trump voiced his stance via Truth Social, his social media platform, criticizing the Adult Survivors Act, a law which allows victims of sexual assault two years to sue over past incidents that would have been prohibited by the statute of limitations. Trump labeled the law as “totally unfair and UNCONSTITUTIONAL”, urging Adams, Cuomo, and others to fight against it.
