Tom Holland to Star in ‘Romeo & Juliet’ in London – The Hollywood Reporter
Tom Holland, known for his role as Spider-Man in Marvel films, is set to star as Romeo in a new version of Romeo & Juliet in the West End this spring. Directed by Jamie Lloyd, who has directed retooled versions of several other plays including Sunset Boulevard and A Doll’s House, additional casting for the production has yet to be announced. Prior to his Marvel fame, Holland was known for his role in Billy Elliot: The Musical in the West End. Romeo & Juliet is slated to run at the Duke of York’s Theatre from May 11 to August 3.
