Timing out this weekend’s nor’easter – NBC Connecticut
A significant snowstorm, a nor’easter, is set to hit most of Connecticut this weekend. Expected to start in the afternoon or early evening, the snowfall will continue into Sunday, with most areas receiving between 5 and 10 inches of snow. Northern Connecticut may receive as much as a foot of snow. Southern Connecticut will see less snow with less than 2 inches predicted along the shoreline in New London County, and 2 to 5 inches for New Haven. The snowfall will be heavy at times, with snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour possible. The snow will become lighter and more intermittent during the overnight hours.
