The U.S. targets Iranian proxies for a second day in a row

The US and its allies have conducted military strikes against Iranian-linked targets in the Middle East for the second consecutive day, hitting 36 Houthi targets across 13 locations in Yemen. The strikes were in response to a drone attack that killed three American soldiers and targeted international shipping vessels. The operations hit multiple storage facilities, missile systems, radars, and helicopters used by the Houthi group. The latest round of strikes is more extensive and deadly than previous ones, with the US determination to respond forcefully to attacks on its forces. These attacks follow over 165 drone, missile, and rocket attacks on US troops in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed militias since the Israel-Hamas war began.
