The Cyber Security Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) utilizes cyber-gathered intelligence to conduct special operations. These operations aim to penetrate the enemy’s systems, collect vital intelligence information, and use it for the elimination of war criminals and the destruction of military facilities that aid the Russian military-industrial complex. The information is also shared with the Defense Forces or international partners, especially when it involves attempts by Russia to evade sanctions. In the past two years, the SBU has neutralized nearly 10,000 cyberattacks.
