The Foundation has also seen a significant increase in fundraising, with revenue reaching over $1 million in 2021. Despite the city’s estimated $1 billion backlog of park repairs and upgrades, the Foundation continues to seek additional funding sources, including individual donors and a potential parcel tax for the November 2024 ballot. The foundation’s long-term goal is to raise $10 million.
