Legislators in Ocean City, New Jersey, have imposed a ban on buskers in most parts of the city’s boardwalk. The new rules confine buskers to the business district’s fringes, limiting their performances to specific days and hours, and forbidding them from accepting money directly from people—tips must be left in a stationary container.
