Suspected DUI driver surrenders to police on 60 Freeway following chase – NBC Los Angeles
A suspected DUI driver, believed to be armed, led authorities on a car chase from Compton to Los Angeles, which concluded on the 60 Freeway. Initially, the authorities decided to stop the pursuit but restarted it when the driver stopped at a gas station. The driver finally pulled over near Exit 16 on the 60 Freeway and surrendered to the police. Aerial footage revealed two people were detained. However, law enforcement did not disclose the identities of those detained.
