Sublett named first CEO of San Diego Parks Foundation
The San Diego Parks Foundation will announce Leona Sublett as its inaugural president and CEO at a groundbreaking ceremony of San Diego’s first official community garden. Sublett brings over thirty years of experience spanning diverse sectors, adding depth to the Foundation’s leadership. She previously served in roles at organizations including the American Red Cross and March of Dimes, and has experience in investor relations, communications, marketing, and public relations management. In her new role, Sublett will be responsible for strategic planning, fundraising, development, capacity building, and overall expansion of the Foundation. She takes up this position following the Foundation’s successful fundraising efforts, with revenues exceeding $4 million.
