Stuntwoman & Actress Hurt In New York Hit & Run – Deadline

Actress and stuntwoman Carrie Bernans was critically injured in an alleged hit and run in New York City. Bernans, known for her work in films like “The Color Purple,” “Black Panther,” and “Avengers Infinity War/End Game,” was one of nine people hurt when a driver crashed into an outdoor dining shed and then rammed another car. Bernans, who recently gave birth, was not with her newborn at the time of the incident. She is now in stable condition and undergoing surgery for multiple injuries, including broken bones and fractures. The driver responsible for the hit and run was arrested shortly after the incident.
