Standoff, arrest in Mass. town connected to butcher shop robbery, police say
The Milford Police Department in Massachusetts took 26-year-old Daniel Generoso into custody following an armed standoff. Generoso is facing charges related to an armed robbery at a butcher shop and convenience store the week prior. The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant by a regional SWAT team which led to a prolonged standoff at Generoso’s residence. The police are still searching for two other suspects believed to be involved in the robbery. Route 140, which was temporarily closed due to the standoff, was reopened at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
