South Side convenience store employee shot

An employee of a convenience store was critically injured in a shooting incident on the South Side of Pittsburgh. The incident occurred late Saturday night, just before 10:30 p.m., on the 2100 block of East Carson Street, while the victim was taking out the trash. The man, who had been shot in the chest, was found inside the store and transported to a hospital in critical condition. The police, who have not yet named any suspects or made any arrests, are investigating the incident.
