Several migrants suspected of attacking 2 NYPD officers reportedly arrested in Arizona

Several migrants who were arrested in New York City following an attack on NYPD officers and later released without bail were reportedly caught in Phoenix, Arizona. The migrants are believed to have fled after their release. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security arrested the migrants, but it is not clear how many were taken into custody. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg faced criticism for not requesting bail for most of the assault suspects. Authorities believe four migrants left New York for California, but it’s unclear how many were arrested in Phoenix.
