Several kids reportedly injured after school bus overturns in Howard County

A school bus with children on board flipped over in Columbia, Maryland, leading emergency crews to the scene. The incident, which did not involve other vehicles, occurred as the bus drove northbound and inexplicably left the roadway near the 7300 block of Old Columbia Road. The bus transported 19 students from Hammond Middle School; four students, aged between 11-14, were hospitalized, although none are believed to have sustained severe or life-threatening injuries. The 30-year-old female bus driver was unharmed. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
