Sen. Ben Cardin staffer linked to sex tape leaves Senate

Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a former employee of the U.S. Senate, was let go from his position, according to a statement from Senator Cardin’s office. Maese-Czeropski, who had been working for Cardin since October 2021, made a LinkedIn post acknowledging some past actions showing poor judgement but stopped short of specifying the allegations. He also separately denied claims that he accosted Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) in a Capitol hallway. As of the report, U.S. Capitol Police had not confirmed whether an investigation was underway.
