Scattered snow showers, strong winds expected Monday

A Winter Weather Advisory has been announced for Greater Cincinnati, which begins at 10 a.m. Monday and lasts until 1 a.m. Tuesday. The weather system is expected to bring falling temperatures, strong winds reaching between 30-35mph, and pockets of snow showers which could reduce visibility on the roads. The main concern is the potential for reduced visibility and possibly slick and raised roads. Snow accumulation is most likely in areas to the north and northwest of Cincinnati, but will likely melt quickly due to warm ground temperatures. The snow showers are expected to taper by sunset.
