Sacramento family man Ray Wright is abducted. A soda cup leads to his kidnappers.

In January 2018, family man and master carpenter Ray Wright went missing. His brother, Dean Wright, found a soda cup in Ray’s home which served as the first clue for the investigation. Ray’s truck was found abandoned with his blood in it. Victor Gray was later arrested in connection with the disappearance after his van was caught with an expired registration sticker that belonged to Ray’s vehicle. In the van, investigators found a hat with the words “Ray Wright Design,” a bloody rain jacket, Ray’s destroyed cellphone, his driver’s license, and a broken pair of glasses. In Gray’s cellphone, they found a note demanding payment for delivering “the ‘dude'” to someone called “Bob.” Ray had been convicted of a drunk-driving accident in 2011 that severely injured a man named Robert “Bobby” Manor and Manor’s wife. Investigators believe the motive was revenge.
