Round 2 of storm bringing more snow to parts of Connecticut Sunday – NBC Connecticut

Connecticut saw significant snowfall overnight on Saturday, with Norfolk receiving a foot of snow and Simsbury six inches. The snow let up as dry air moved in but is expected to redevelop, with northern Connecticut likely to get over four inches of additional accumulation. The snowfall led to numerous closings and cancellations, including several flight cancellations at Bradley International Airport. Eversource reported over 2,200 outages. Temperatures are predicted to drop into the 20s on Sunday afternoon, potentially causing slush to freeze, while another storm bringing rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
