Republican presidential debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Nikki Haley, former governor of South Carolina, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy are set to meet in the fourth Republican primary debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which has been a contentious pairing in previous debates. Their disagreements primarily stem from foreign policy issues involving Ukraine-Russia war, the US relationship with Israel, and China. Haley criticized Ramaswamy’s position on these issues, while Ramaswamy accused Haley of supporting America’s role in global conflicts for corporate benefits. The usage of TikTok, a social media platform owned by a Chinese company, also sparked a conflict between the two. Their personal attacks on each other have escalated over the course of their campaigns.
