PUSH Excel Hosts 34th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast on Monday
The 34th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast and Press Conference by PUSH Excel is slated for Jan. 15, 2024, at the Apostolic Church of God. Distinguished guests include Frederick D. Haynes III, President and CEO of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, and Mayor Brandon Johnson. The event will address topics such as Education & Critical Race Theory (CRT), Student Loan Debt Crisis, and Migrant Relocation. The event will also feature an awards program recognizing individuals who have excelled in various fields. January 15 is the birth date of civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the only African American to have a national U.S. holiday named after him.
