President Biden to visit L.A. for Hollywood fundraiser: Brace yourself for traffic headaches
President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are set to attend a Hollywood fundraiser for Biden’s 2024 reelection bid, hosted by directors Steven Spielberg and Rob Reiner. The event, taking place in Westwood over the weekend, is expected to worsen traffic in Los Angeles. Due to security reasons, there will be no advance public announcement regarding road closures. Caltrans spokesperson Marc Bischoff has advised motorists to check traffic information on the Caltrans website before commuting. Airport officials have also stated that Van Nuys and Burbank airports will enforce temporary flight restrictions during the President’s visit.
