Possible gas explosion at downtown Fort Worth hotel injures 21: Officials

An explosion at the Sandman Signature Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, injured 21 people and caused significant damage on Monday afternoon. The Fort Worth Fire Department suggests a gas leak may have caused the explosion, and one person is in critical condition. An ongoing investigation is taking place, and the debris from the explosion spread throughout the street. The hotel, opened last May, is located near the Fort Worth Convention Center and was converted from the historic Waggoner Building. Texas Governor, Greg Abbott, is monitoring the situation.
