Police: Suspect injured in shootout with Parker County deputies

Parker County deputies in Texas shot a man while serving a warrant for his arrest. The man, identified as Gary Evans, allegedly produced a handgun and shot at deputies, who returned fire and struck him multiple times. Evans was airlifted to a Fort Worth hospital in critical condition. One deputy had a bullet strike a handgun magazine on their belt but was medically cleared. Evans faces charges of aggravated assault on a public servant with a deadly weapon.
