The Edna Police Department in Texas is searching for a person of interest in connection with the death of 16-year-old Lizbeth Medina, a cheerleader at Edna High School. The person of interest was last seen wearing a black “Volcom” sweatshirt, may have a tattoo behind his right ear, and is believed to have been driving a silver Ford Taurus. Authorities, including the Texas Rangers, are investigating Medina’s death as a potential capital murder case. Medina’s mother, Jacqueline, found her daughter dead in a bathtub in their home at the Cottonwood Apartments.
