Philadelphia weather: Will Philly break the snow drought Tuesday?

The Philadelphia region is experiencing its coldest week since last winter, with temperatures below freezing and wind chill in the teens. An Arctic blast is expected to bring snow from the southwest, starting in Delaware and South Jersey on Monday afternoon and moving closer to the city by the evening. This is expected to contribute to an AccuWeather Alert for a slippery Tuesday commute. Between a coating to three inches of snow could drop across different areas, with the possibility of breaking Philadelphia’s nearly 2-year snow drought. Another snow chance is expected later in the week on Friday.
