Oklahoma shook by shallow 5.1 magnitude earthquake

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake hit Oklahoma, near Oklahoma City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake reportedly occurred at a shallow depth of 1.8 miles, making the shaking more intense. The quake was centred 4.9 miles northwest of Prague, Oklahoma, and was felt in cities like Prague, Oklahoma City, Shawnee, Stillwater, and Tecumseh. This follows a series of earthquakes, including two greater than magnitude 4.0, near Oklahoma City suburb last month. In April, there were six earthquakes in the central Oklahoma town of Carney, including a magnitude 4.0 quake.
