Nikki Haley trails Donald Trump in New Hampshire poll ahead of primary

A recent poll conducted by the Saint Anselm College Survey Center indicates that former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s support in the New Hampshire primary may be waning. The survey, conducted between January 8 and 9, found that 31% of likely Republican primary voters would support Haley, compared to 45% who would back former President Donald Trump. Other candidates, including former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (who recently dropped out), Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, trailed significantly behind. However, with Christie’s departure, Haley may have a chance to consolidate the moderate and anti-Trump votes in the state. The poll had a margin of error of +/- 2.8%.
