New Orleans streets flooding after night of heavy rain

Overnight heavy rain has caused widespread street flooding in New Orleans. The Sewerage and Water Board lost power to Turbine 4, and DPS 12, which services Broadmoor, has gone offline. Others like DPS 6 and DPS 1, servicing Lakeview, Mid-City, parts of Jefferson Parish, and Broadmoor respectively, are running at a reduced capacity. Key areas under flood warning include Carrollton and Canal underpass, Octavia, Claiborne, Airline area, and Fleur De Lis from Harrison to old Hammond Highway. Sewerage and Water Board officials are working to restore power to all offline equipment.
