New Mexico school delays and closings

A significant storm system is pushing into New Mexico, bringing snow showers, icy road conditions, and much colder air to the majority of western, northern, and central New Mexico. The impact of this weather is causing several delays and closures of schools and government offices in the northeast. The Albuquerque Metro area is anticipated to see about two to 2.5 inches of snow, with the heaviest snowfall expected in the northeast heights and foothills. The weather has triggered winter storm advisories and warnings, with three storm systems in total expected to impact the region.
