Navajo Nation objects to a plan to send human remains to the moon : NPR

A planned deposit of Human remains on the moon as part of a private rocket launch scheduled for this week is being criticized by the Navajo Nation who consider it desecration of the celestial body. The Navajo Nation President, Buu Nygren, has called for NASA or other government bodies to intervene. The mission is being run by a private company, the first of its kind for an American firm, with NASA sending five payloads on the mission. Companies Celestis and Elysium will also send payloads, which include the cremated remains of nearly 70 people. The Navajo Nation is not against space exploration, they simply request to be consulted on the launch.
