Mystery surrounds Clearwater plane crash that killed 3
A small Beechcraft Bonanza V35 plane crashed into the Bayside Waters 55+ community in Clearwater, causing a fire that resulted in the deaths of the pilot and two people in the home hit by the plane. Although nine people were reportedly in the house before the crash, most had left beforehand and were uninjured. The plane had taken off from Vero Beach an hour prior to the crash. At least three homes were damaged and the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the pilot was the only person on board. An investigator from the National Transportation Safety Board has been dispatched to the crash site.
