Museum achieve River of Lights event to feature 50,000 pounds of snow
The San Antonio River Authority is organizing a free community event on December 9th which includes 50,000 pounds of snow as part of its Museum achieve River of Lights event. The event will feature snow slides, Santa’s longhorns, live music, cookie decorating, and light displays along the Museum achieve of the River Walk. Deputy Director of Parks & Recreation for the River Authority Kristen Hansen said the event is planned to provide the community with a fun and entertaining holiday experience. Attendees are requested to bring an unwrapped toy for the San Antonio River Foundation’s Fill the Canoe toy drive, benefiting St. PJ’s Children’s Home and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation.
