Mike Gill, former Trump official, dies days after being shot in DMV carjacking spree

Mike Gill, a former Trump administration official, has died after being shot during a carjacking spree in Washington, D.C. Gill was a married father of three and served as the senior vice president for Capital Markets at the Housing Policy Council, as well as the previous chief of staff at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission during the Trump administration. The suspected gunman, identified as 28-year-old Artell Cunningham, has also been fatally shot by police. Cunningham is believed to have mental health issues and was involved in several carjackings during the rampage. The investigation is still ongoing.
