McCarthy cursed Trump during call after ouster as Speaker: Report
Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker, cursed out ex-President Donald Trump after he was removed as Speaker, as Trump refused to denounce the removal efforts. Trump had previously given McCarthy a list of reasons for not supporting him. Despite previously standing by Trump, even after multiple criminal indictments and the 2020 election loss, McCarthy received no support from Trump when he was ousted from the Speakership. Instead, Trump endorsed Rep. Jim Jordan for the role. McCarthy has not yet endorsed a 2024 presidential candidate.
