Marquez still riding Ducati like Honda in Sepang MotoGP test
Marc Marquez is getting used to the GP23 at the official pre-season test at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, after an initial run in Valencia where he faced several mechanical issues. Marquez, who transitioned from Honda, is learning to adapt to the different braking and rear tyre usage of the Ducati. He believes his current riding style with the Ducati is similar to how he used to ride the Honda, which isn’t the most efficient way to ride the Ducati. Marquez has been struggling to take advantage of Ducati’s rear grip, which has affected his acceleration especially during fast corners. He believes he needs to improve his single lap-pace, as he has had limited opportunities to test new tyres on the Ducati.
