Marianne Williamson suspends presidential campaign

Marianne Williamson has ended her Democratic presidential campaign for president. The announcement came after her defeat by President Biden in the Nevada Democratic primary. Her attempt to unseat Biden was launched alongside Rep. Dean Phillips, who remains in the race. Her campaign saw her rotating between three different campaign managers, with her most recent campaign manager leaving the day after New Hampshire’s primary. Williamson also ran in the 2020 Democratic primary and had laid off her entire staff after failing to meet fundraising and polling thresholds for all but the first debate.
